Her new movie may be called “Grown Ups,” but Salma Hayek had an infantile reaction when an unwanted snake paid her a visit during the film’s press junket last Friday.
While co-stars Maya Rudolph and Mario Bello had typically appropriate reactions when the reptile found its way to the women on Malibou Lake, Calif., Hayek’s response earns her a Oscar nod for best dramatic performance.
As someone whose film career launched from a sexy dance with a snake in 1996’s “From Dusk Till Dawn,” Hayek’s reaction proves to be quite surprising.
Her over-the-top attempt to escape the slithery creature is not only amusing, but ridiculous when done in sky-high stilettos.
“It was like a python,” Bello told “Extra.” “It was thick. Its head was like this, like a cobra!”
